Acting For Screen

Screen acting is a unique challenge. To excel, you need to master the art of performing for the camera.

In our program, you will learn techniques to enhance your on-screen performance, including skills such as maintaining continuity, hitting your mark, and navigating all aspects of working on a set.

Monologue Work

You will explore a diverse range of texts, both individually and as a group. These texts will then be performed for both stage and screen, allowing you to develop and showcase your versatility as an actor.

Improvisation

Improvisation is a crucial skill that cannot be overlooked. It is essential for every actor to explore and develop the ability to perform spontaneously and think quickly on their feet.

Acting For Stage

Stage acting is often everyone's introduction to the world of performing, serving as their first step into this exciting realm.

In our program, we will delve deeper into enhancing your performance for live audiences. We'll revisit the fundamental techniques of stagecraft and explore more advanced skills to refine your craft and elevate your stage presence.

Scene Work

Much like monologues... You will explore a diverse range of texts, both individually and as a group. These texts will then be performed for both stage and screen, allowing you to develop and showcase your versatility as an actor.

Movement For Actors

Movement is a fundamental aspect of performance. In fact, 55% of human communication is conveyed through body language. The way we move is vital for expressing emotions and intentions, often more so than words. You will explore a range of techniques to maximise your physical expression, enhancing both your own presence and the characters you portray.
