KeyStage 4 Workshops: GCSE & BTEC

These workshops provide the students with a range of skills to apply to their work. The current workshops on offer are the following:

- Practitioner workshops: We specialise in exploring different practitioner techniques and how to apply them to performance. This workshop can explore one or more practitioners in the same session. The practioners we look at are Stanislavski, Brecht, Artaud, Boal and more..

- Physical theatre: This workshop provides the pupils with the knowledge and skills to create a highly creative piece of physical theatre. We look at work from companies such as DV8, Kneehigh and Frantic assembly and apply their movement creating techniques to the pupils work and/or create a whole new piece of work.

- Actor training: The session will consist of looking at different practitioner techniques and applying them to the pupils work. They will be professionally directed by our workshop leader who is an experienced actor and director for TV, Film and Theatre. We explore practitioners such as Meisner, Stanislavski and Uta Hagen.

- Acting for Screen: Learn the techniques, learn the tricks and learn how to behave in front of the camera. We work on varying techniques such as Meisner and Stanislavski giving you a clear understanding of them so you can add the techniques to your tool box.

The above list is not exhaustive, so if you have something you would like to explore or work on then send us a message below and we can create a bespoke workshop around you and your pupils.

These workshops are 2.5 hours and cost: £225.
